Bootloader to run Windows XP on Intel Macs available

Many of you may have heard that the problem getting Windows XP running on an Intel Mac has been solved. Now you can join in the fun too. The solution is now available for download. However, this is only a 0.1 release. Install at your own risk.

I have not tried it, since all of my Macs (3 of them) are PowerPC.

I may be getting an Intel Mac for work soon, but since it's a work machine I'm not to going to be installing strange hacks on it. :)

I took BMW and put a Hyundai engine in it. Everyone get excited!

Nothing to see here folks, move along.

Ok, I can see a reason to HAVE to run Windows for "corporate standard" apps, but I think I will wait for a VM method that works seemlessly, allows fast switching between OS's, and lets me stay in OSX most of the time.

You know there is a relatively inexpensive Mac program called "Guest PC" that lets you install any original Windows CD on your Mac and lets you run windows in it's own window or full screen. Check it out here:

They said that they will be creating a new version for the Intel Macs which should run even faster. I like this because you don't need to restart every time you want to run a different OS.
