HDTV resolutions well supported in Snow Leopard

It took Apple long enough, but HD TV resolutions are finally well supported in Mac OS X. Here is a screengrab of my 13" MacBook Pro supplying 1920x1080i to my Panasonic PT-AX200U home theatre projector, in 10.6 Leopard.

Happy Days :-) All we need now is an Apple TV update so it supports iTunes LP and the App Store and we will be in heaven...

hi,

I just tried connecting my AX200U to both a new MacBook Pro and a recent iMac 24, both running Snow Leopard. Your screenshot is exactly what I see when the projector is connected to my iMac, but the projector doesn't recognize anything over the HDMI cable. Could you post your setup exactly to help me figure out what I am doing wrong? I couldn't find a way to email you directly.

I just plugged it in and it just worked.

Are you sure you have the right settings? If you are using 1080p, are you sure your cables are up to the task?
